the lexicon alex is a digital stereo effects processor, focused mainly on reverbs.

the alex is a very basic unit, which gives the advantage of fast and easy operation. this makes it a very handy tool. adjustment of input level, mix and output level is done via three knobs located on the left of the front panel. the unit offers 16 different effects (12 reverbs, chorus, flanger, echo, delay). only three parameters (decay, delay, fx level) are given for editing and these have a very small resolution of only 16 steps. despite this it is quite easy to find a good sounding setting in all situations. the overall sound is exceptionally good for a unit in the low price segment.

we use the alex very frequently for several years now and it proofed to be a real workhorse on all kinds of synth sounds.
